Our customer’s brief
A refined bedroom and dressing room
Our customer came to us looking for a luxurious bedroom and dressing room that balanced elegance with everyday functionality. They wanted a refined space with areas for sleep and organisation, creating a relaxing sanctuary in the bedroom and a separate, dedicated dressing area. The aesthetic brief was sophisticated and practical, with a cohesive finish that allowed the two spaces to blend seamlessly within the home.
Shelf lighting design
Integrated wardrobe lighting
Lighting was carefully considered throughout the design process. We introduced interior wardrobe lighting that activates as soon as the doors open, enhancing visibility with a soft, ambient glow. This additional layer of illumination creates a refined, boutique feel that brings depth and warmth to the space.
Effortless control
LED mirror lighting
The mirror features a discreet touchless dimmer switch that can be activated with a simple hover of the hand. This practical functionality allows the lighting to be adjusted with ease, providing bright, even, front-facing illumination, ideal for makeup application and skincare routines.
Everyday convenience
Integrated tray feature
Even the smallest details were considered. In the bedroom, two bespoke bedside tables were designed to complement the overall scheme. Each one incorporates an integrated pull-out tray, offering a dedicated space for morning coffee or evening essentials.
A balanced aesthetic
Dual finish design
In the dressing room, a dual finish creates the perfect final touch. The addition of Virginia Dark Oak to the fitted shelving and some worktops, brings texture into the design, softening the overall scheme with a timeless, natural element. A painted Verona Truffle finish introduces subtle warmth while maintaining a cohesive and elegant overall look.
A statement centrepiece
Dressing room island
A central island in the dressing room provides an instant visual focal point along with internal and surface storage. Its placement ensures everyday items are easily accessible while maintaining a clean, uncluttered aesthetic.
Bespoke storage solutions
Built-in shelving and cupboards
Throughout the design, bespoke solutions were introduced to provide practical and beautiful storage space. Built-in shelving showcases accessories such as handbags, while integrated cupboards and drawers maintain the cohesive aesthetic.
A cohesive living space
Bedroom and dressing room harmony
The bedroom and dressing room work seamlessly together. A consistent theme was created through the use of materials, finishes, colour, and bespoke design. The result is a calm, elegant bedroom and dressing room environment that feels at one, considered and effortlessly stylish.
